Reviews
Boomkat:
" Dub-house hypnotist Stephan Laubner aka STL weaves his magick for Sweden’s Blundar. In a signature style owing as much to Theo Parrish as Maurizio, the German producer stretches out on two woodcut dub house works, firming up rolling bass with smouldering textures and washed out field recordings, along with a sweetly worn-out nub of hip hop and charred location recordings on the A-side,  while the flip chimes with rugged Detroit beatdown vibes in a swaggering, melodic house swinger, next to a shot of loping, Dilla-esque loops in his gritty-toothed fashion."
Bleep:
" STL returns to the Blundar imprint with a bilious and luscious slice of dub and house rooted numbers. Untitled — consistent of a further 6 untitled tracks with ballsy flare — covers a wide swathe of musical ground, all consistent with STL’s vast artistic ethos. From the teary-eyed mope ambience of our second ‘Untitled’ to the clambering steps of the club-ready fourth ‘Untitled’, this small offering is a gift larger than its length."
Piccadilly Records:
"STL's moonlit machine grooves strike back on the Blundar imprint. Dub, beatdown and deep house that's destined to soundtrack Dutch coffee shops as much as red lit dance basements. Nods to both Sound Signature and Grand Central with a sound that celebrates the dusty crackles of the past whilst viewing the future with optimism and insight. Pressed nice n hot on 180g, limited vinyl. Complete with sexy locked groove for the headzz... Recommended!
STAFF COMMENTS Matt says: Nice n varied EP touching on smoked out dub, house, dusty beatdown and some ruff atmospheres. Incredibly well pressed records - others take note!"
